Batene is a battery technology startup and a spin-off of the Max Planck Society. Our mission is to enable more efficient batteries and contribute to making sustainable energy broadly accessible.
Our offices and laboratories are located in the Neckarspinnerei Quarter near Stuttgart, a historic industrial site along the Neckar River that is currently being transformed into a mixed-use urban district. Batene is financially and technically supported by a group of investors and visionaries who are committed to economic, environmental, and social responsibility.
